Notional Rent Notional rent is the reimbursed rent provided by Primary Care Trusts to GP practices. This is based on the current market rent of GP premises. It requires re-assessment every three years by the District Valuer or a surveyor acting on behalf of the Primary Care Trust.
Two of our Directors have formerly worked within the District Valuers office. They have vast experience in the assessment of notional rents for Primary Care Trusts and as gamekeeper turned poacher, now acting on behalf of GP practices and developers. We are experts in valuing and negotiating to ensure that notional rents are assessed up to their highest optimum level. We are happy to informally discuss fees and the likelihood of an increase in notional rent assessment prior to any formal appointment. If significant errors have been identified from previous notional rent assessments, we could potentially backdate increased levels of reimbursement. We work on both a regional and national basis. Fees are determined on a success-related basis. However, these can be discussed informally prior to any formal appointment. |
