Carl, Simon and Helen attended the Bondholder VIP reception at Stage @TheDock in Hull last night, a preview of this weekend's Freedom Festival. The evening was hosted at Hull's new culture venue, a converted dry dock, adjacent to the impressive C4DI building. The sneak preview showcased some of the exciting and innovative entertainment that will take place during the course of Freedom Festival which will take place this weekend. It was a perfect late summers evening with guests from the region's businesses enjoying the refreshments, networking and entertainment. We saw Hull in a new light last night and are very excited for Freedom Festival and also Hull2017 City of Culture, the beautiful Hull back drop having created a new word - Beautihull!
