As surveyors we regularly pick up the phone to find another surveyor on the end of the line seeking details of recent sales and lettings, the calls often coming from the national and international firms who’s knowledge of the Humber region is not as detailed as ours. Not long ago Emma Bennett answered a call for help from one of the surveyors at JLL in Leeds. This time the call wasn’t about rental values in Hull or Grimsby, but a slightly more unusual request on this occasion. To be fair it was a long-time friend and former work colleague on the phone, but Emma wasn’t expecting an invitation to take part in the JLL Northern Triathlon. The fabulous venue of Salford Quays played host to the event on the 29th July with Emma taking the final leg – the 5K run – after fellow surveyors and team mates Vanessa and Rachael had successfully completed the swimming and cycling legs of the event. Congratulations to the team completing the event in a highly respectable time of 1hr 29:51. Regrettably Emma (pictured left) couldn’t get away with wearing her Clark Weightman T-Shirt!
