Following the announcement earlier this year that Cleethorpes Police Station was to be put up for sale pan-Humber commercial property consultancy, Clark Weightman, are now instructed to deal with the marketing.

Cleethorpes Police Station dates from 1932 and provides a rare opportunity for residential redevelopment in this central Cleethorpes location, close to the railway station and the main shopping and leisure facilities the town has to offer. The existing buildings extend to just over 14,000 sq ft with the total site being around one acre. Since the decision to sell was announced background work has been ongoing with the preparation of an indicative redevelopment scheme which allowed for the conversion and refurbishment of the front part of the police station to provide 10 apartments with the balance of the buildings being demolished to create space for eight new houses. The scheme is indicative only, but architects acting on behalf of Humberside Police have engaged in pre-planning application discussions with North East Lincolnshire Council and there has been positive feedback to the proposals.
