Clark Weightman is acting as an official sponsor of this prestigious and historically significant Dinner to be held in Lincoln Cathedral to celebrate the 800th Anniversary of the Magna Carta. Lincoln has a unique role in the Magna Carta which was signed by King John on the Island of Runnymede in the Thames. The great significance for Lincoln is that the Cathedral owns one of only four surviving copies of this most defined document in English history.
The Dinner for 800 has already sold out and is expected to raise much needed funds for the Cathedral which will assist in the maintenance and repair of the fabric.
