The weather forecast suggests that we are heading for some colder weather and possibly some snow. As a reminder to property owners and tenants if a property is going to be unoccupied during the winter months please check if there are any specific requirements set out by your insurers in respect of unoccupied premises. If there are these need to be followed. In a perfect world leave some background heating on in an unoccupied property. If that isn't feasible make sure that all water pipes are drained down to avoid the risk of frozen / burst pipes.
