The property comprised a former smoke house and premises previously known as “The Fishwife” which was severely damaged by fire some years ago.

Following a period of marketing, terms were agreed with E Factor to purchase the site, conditional upon them obtaining planning consent for its redevelopment.

Planning permission has now been obtained which will see the demolition of the former smoke house buildings and the construction of new industrial units providing additional accommodation to the neighbouring Enterprise Village on Prince Albert Gardens.

The property had previously been on the market at a guide price of £225,000 for the freehold interest.
